The river is dreaming
The river is dreaming tonight
of the summer to come
of satin caresses,
of rapscallions and kings
under a voluptuous moon
of abandon and desire
and your wanton kisses
Oh there will be trysts
under the voyeur stars
in the vineyards of Champagne
by the grottos of Capri
with the perfect one
the one with topaz skin
and the jaguar eyes
there will be fragrant kisses and
wine and song and laughter
by the rhapsodic lemon tree
my dove, my love,
my exotic boy
